The school engages in a continuous improvement process that produces evidence, including measurable results of improving student learning and professional practice. The process is focused, systematic, systemic, documented, and collaborative, and it is based on learners results (using formative and sumative assessments, internal grades, standardized tests, and certifications) and organizational effectiveness (attending courses and participating in external audits and assessments of the Semper Altius Central Office). The continuous improvement process is documented in the school continuous improvement plan. The plan includes the long-term and mid-term goals and strategies, documented in our strategic plan; and the short-term or annual goals, documented in the school annual plan. The strategic plan is reviewed and revised in an annual basis, and the annual plan twice a semester. Both analysis (strategic and annual) are done by the school directive team, and include data from numerous academic and professional practice sources, from all stakeholder groups. Results are communicated in the presentations at the beginning of the school year, and at the monthly training meetings. Disaggregation techniques are basically done between groups of boys and girls. The student body at the school is very homogeneous, and it has been difficult to dissagregate data in other ways. The strategic plan and the annual plan are clear and well-articulated (attached below). Goals, strategies and activities are well defined. Plans and results are communicated to all stakeholders in meetings with each one of their groups.
